Benedikt (Beni) Linder, from Switzerland, has been the Strength & Conditioning Head Coach of Swiss Tennis Federation. Beni has worked daily with top 10 ITF players in the 14 & under and 18 & under age categories including running the fitness programme for Timea Bacsinszky (WTA 23), as well as the conditioning coach for Swiss Davis Cup winner Marco Chiudinelli,. He is also helping with the fitness programme of Turkish number one Cagla Buyukakcay (WTA 130). His experience working with a diverse age group and level makes player development one of Beni’s strength. Beni studied at the University of Bern from 1995 to 2000 and graduated with a Master of Science in Sport. He also holds the highest diploma in training/coaching Swiss Olympic and Swiss Tennis. Beni’s current responsibilities include the athletic development and performance of Swiss federation players, as well as overseeing coaches from 10 different partner Academies. He is also responsible for the physical coach’s courses in collaboration with the Swiss Olympic Association.
